Tribute To Ralph
December 22nd, 2008 categories: Rants & Riffs
Ralph Waldo Emerson is one of my heros. He was born in 1803 and did most of his landmark writing in the middle 1800’s. As a student of the power of creative thinking, I find it amazing that his prescient writings took place at a time not general known this type of reasoning.
To honor my mentor, I am adding an Emerson’s Quotes category to my blog. Enjoy them as the come up, and if you have one to add, please feel free to send it to me via a comment or email at keahi@lava.net.
Here is my first quote from his essay on Character.
“No institution will be better than the institutor.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
