Diamond Head Vintage Home

This home is 200 feet from the water and is located at the foot of Diamond Head.  I am 99% sure that the home will be completely remodeled because the house behind it is going through a major remodeling.  So what makes this vintage?

1.  Note the shingled siding.
2.  The rock-work going to the second story.
3.  The steep pitch of the roof.

    Aloha Keahi,

    This home is suffering from an identity crisis, it can’t decide if it’s an A-frame, Story Book, or Saltbox; a bit of a poi dog if you will. My guess it’s post war construction and judging from the lot size and it’s location (I see 3019 Kalakaua looming in the background) the original house sits in the back and this is a CPR.
