The Wall Street Journal recently reported that the parts of the mainland are experiencing bidding wars for certain properties.

“But real-estate brokers say multiple offers on certain homes have recently become more common in parts of California and Arizona and the Washington, D.C., and Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan areas.”

True to form, the Honolulu real estate market maybe following suit. In the last few weeks, I have been seeing more multiple offers on clean, well-located homes and condos. Add this to dropping levels of available single family homes in core Honolulu and we might be getting ready for a very strong and competitive summer selling season.
