Good For California Is Good For Honolulu!

The Wall Street Journal is reporting a shift in the California real estate market that should make followers of the Honolulu market very happy.

“California’s median price for existing homes rose 1.4% in April from March, marking the second consecutive monthly increase in housing prices and prompting some industry officials to declare that the state’s long swoon in housing values could be at or near the bottom.”

I am looking forward to tomorrow’s release of the Honolulu Board of Realtors monthly sales statistics. I am expecting it to reflect an increase in pending sales and, with any luck, a drop in inventory. Stay tuned!
